Downers Grove, IL – December 31, 2025 – Duravant LLC (“Duravant”), a global leader in advanced automation technologies, announced the completion of its acquisition of Matthews Automation Solutions, a leading provider of Warehouse Execution System (WES) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) software, controls, and integration services, from Matthews International Corporation (NASDAQ GSM: MATW). The transaction was first announced on November 13, 2025, and was completed today.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the material handling sector, Matthews Automation Solutions is recognized as North America’s largest independent provider of WES/WCS software and controls system integration. Its respected product brands—Pyramid, Compass, and Lightning Pick—deliver comprehensive and flexible warehouse automation solutions that optimize material flow and order fulfillment for omnichannel, ecommerce, and advanced warehouse operations.
“We’re excited to welcome Matthews Automation Solutions to the Duravant family,” said Mike Kachmer, Chairman and CEO of Duravant. “This strategic acquisition significantly expands our software and controls engineering capabilities, allowing us to deliver robust, end-to-end integrated solutions—from design and implementation through ongoing service that drives long-term customer success.”
The addition of WES/WCS technologies expands Duravant’s capabilities to provide comprehensive and efficient warehouse solutions for ecommerce, retail, parcel, and logistics clients. Raman Joshi, Group President of Duravant Material Handling, shared, “Our customers want warehouse systems that boost productivity. By bringing software and control systems in-house, we can offer integrator clients more comprehensive solutions delivered faster and more efficiently.”
